Out of Uniform Friday
This Friday (3/17) we will be out of uniform for Allergy Safety Awareness. Our students and staff do a great job of making sure students with severe allergies remain safe at SLS and this is a small thank you. Since it is also St. Patrick's Day, feel free to wear green!Opening Day
Coming back from long breaks can be difficult. Kids may be use to sleeping late and getting up early again for school is hard. To make the transition back to school easier we will have a "Reds' Day" on Monday, April 3. The Reds were kind enough to schedule their opening day on our first day back.
Students and staff may wear anything Reds (including jeans). For those Cubs fans who don't have Reds apparel, you should treat it as a red and white day (follow the handbook). You may wear your World Series Champions shirts at home. :)
Kathy Forbeck Honored
For the second year in a row, our own Kathy Forbeck has been voted Best School Secretary by the readers of The Herald Tribune. Congratulations Kathy!

Energy Update
So far, St Louis Catholic School & Parish has requested 146 Energy Kits and has saved 29,200 kWh of energy! *Families and staff can request their FREE Energy Kit and credit SLS by going online to MyEnergyKit.org or by calling our hotline at 1-855-386-9548. Mrs. Roell
Thank you for requesting the kits and make a difference for our planet. When you request and use your kits, energy is saved. It's as simple as that. And we're hoping that by the end of the school year, we will have saved 10 million kWh of energy together. Can we make it?
Until then, thank you again for all of your energy-saving efforts,

The Cincy Music Series will present their 6th concert of the season with the Grammy Award winning Mike Farris and the Roseland Rhythm Review at the Matthews Auditorium at Princeton High School Saturday April 8 at 7:30 PM. Mike was the lead vocalist for the Sceamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, a Southern Blues/Boogie band from Nashville from 1992 - 2000. After battling substance abuse, Mike completely turned his life around and handed everything over to God. His 2013 solo effort, Shine For All The People, won the Grammy for Best Roots Gospel. His incredibly soulful and powerful
voice also lends itself to Motown, Blues and funk which he also performs at his shows. He is a performer for ALL the people. He is an entertainer that will leave you changed as you walk out of the theater. Looking for a great show? Here it is!
For tickets and information go to www.cincymusicseries.org or call 513-570-0652 for information. For each ticket purchased, 5 can be donated to the Catholic elementary school of your choice. The ESAP (Education Scholarship and Assistance Foundation) ill match the donation for a total $10 per ticket contribution. What a great way to support our Catholic schools!
