Spelling - Unit 10

Vocabulary - Unit 10: Words that Describe Size

This week we will continue in Unit 3 with Informational texts, focusing on text features and how they help us analyze text and develop comprehension. Our story this week is "Escape from Alcatraz".


Reading logs will be due FRIDAY, due to Thanksgiving holiday next week!

However, students that complete a reading log over the Thanksgiving break will receive a FREE HOMEWORK Pass & 1 class coupon (choices include free seating, pajama day, hat day, teacher's chair for a day, lunch in the classroom with teacher and 1 friend).


Spelling, Vocabulary, & Comprehension tests on Friday!

Math

We will continue on Unit #5: Add / Subtract Fractions with unlike denominators. Monday we will add fractions, Wednesday we will subtract fractions. Thursday we will review what we have learned so far and take a quiz on Friday. This quiz will include content and vocabulary for Unit #5. We are in still in topic #7 of Envision workbooks.

Sceince

We will continue with Sedimentary Rock and Fossil Fuels. Students will have a quiz over content and vocabulary on Wednesday.

Social Studies

Week 10: Looking to the West. Students will read about Eminent Domain, President Jefferson, and Heading West. Quiz on Friday
