Our students can submit an anonymous tip through the Safe2Say Program. Tips are typically related to a variety of challenges our students experience or witness, such as bullying, harassment, disrespectful language, safety concerns, etc. When a tip is received, the State (who runs Safe2Say) immediately follows up with building administrators.

Bus Reminder

Students are not permitted to take a different bus after school to go to a friend's house. Each child must take their own assigned bus. There is an activity bus at 4PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday as well as a sports bus at 5PM every day of the week.

Changing Instructional Modes

Changing Your Child’s Learning Mode - In the past we have aligned changes in instructional mode with changes to the trimester or semester. In light of the recent change to the strong recommendation for all to wear face coverings/masks, we will partner with parents to consider shifts outside of the pre-established timeframes. If you are interested in a shift between onsite learning and virtual learning, please complete this survey. Please know that all change requests require consideration of various factors prior to an instructional mode change being implemented. Parents will be contacted by their building administrators to discuss potential implications to schedules and confirm any changes. All changes constitute a commitment for the following trimester/semester. In addition, information about Viking Academy, the district’s virtual school, can be found on the Perkiomen Valley website under the “schools” tab. To speak with someone about Viking Academy, please contact the following based upon the level.
  • K-5 ~ Mrs. Krista Venza ~ Viking Academy Elementary Principal
  • 6-8 ~ Mrs. Laurie Smith ~ Assistant Superintendent
  • 9-12 ~ Mrs. Stefanie Baker ~ PVHS House Principal

PVHS Tree-Plenish

As a school district, we are working to decrease our impact on the environment and also increase environmental education throughout our school district. The development and creation of Lenape Arboretum and Muhlenberg Woods will allow our district to help our teachers educate our youth about how to protect and sustain our environment. Community involvement is essential in moving towards this goal. Our Community Tree Planting Event on April 30, 2022 hopes to involve the community in this vision. We will be providing saplings of Eastern Redbud, Pin Oak and American Sycamore trees, all climate tolerant native species of our region. Join us by ordering a sapling for yourself, volunteer to help plant or donate a sapling to the district arboretum. Please click this link for more details:

PV Woods Project

We are continuing to make progress with Lenape Arboretum and Muhlenberg Woods.

Learn more about this awesome project! You can volunteer as well as make a donation. Check out our website: Please 'Like' us on Facebook: PV Woods

Starting this Thursday, January 27th, PV East will be starting a Chess Club. The club will meet after school on every other Thursday in Room 238. Come join us for some friendly competition. You are welcome to bring your own chess set, if you do not have one a set will be provided. Please contact Mr. Stollery with any questions.

Community Bulletin Board

Please check out our community bulletin. There are many events and activities that are posted here. We do not post non-PVSD events on our social media so this is the place to find out what's happening outside of PVSD.
