Safety and Security
We need your help in keeping morning and afternoon procedures safe and pleasant for everyone.
Morning Procedures
We have greeters at the front door beginning at 7:00 am. We have car-line drop off helpers beginning at 7:20. We now have adults and student volunteers. Please be off your phone in the car line. If you need to get out of your car for any reason, please pull to the side parking lot. Many cars are arriving right at 7:45; when this occurs, many students are rushing into the building and it is difficult to get all students out of cars by 7:45.
Please arrive by 7:40 and we will have plenty of time to get into the building safely. The drop off personnel goes inside at 7:45. If there is not an adult, that means you must park and walk your student in as the front door will be locked and you must be buzzed into the building.
We have noticed at both drop-off and pick-up some cars not adhering to safe practices.
1. Cell phone usage
2. U-Turns on Evelyn
3. Stopping or parking in the drop-off line
4. Speeding
5. Parking across the street and walking in front of the car line
6. Cutting people off to get into the car line
7. Mindfulness of the crossing guards
Please help us by ensuring you are following procedures so we can all be safe and efficient.
