Penn Pride: We have. We are. Together.

Big picture

Together -- we are thankful

Each month we focus on a character trait. This month we have been thinking about and practicing gratitude. Gratitude is: to feel and show thanks for a helpful or kind act.

Each classroom has practiced gratitude by filling a gratitude jar.

Students use a slip of paper to record something they are thankful for. We encourage them to recognize small things that make a difference in their lives so they can begin to feel grateful for things they might normally take for granted.

Here is a favorite video that you may enjoy with your student or whole family:

Watch it clear to the end to see the stove top stuffing move.

5. friends

6. books

7. parents

People often ask: what do you need at school? Well, while you are out shopping, and as we enter the flu and virus season, we would sure appreciate disinfecting wipes. Just drop them off in the office.

THANK YOU.
