Verbal & Physical Bullying Awareness

STOP Verbal & Physical Bullying

How many of us have felt personally victimized by gossip, teasing, taunting and rumors?

It has become so common to offend one another, that everyone does it so naturally. This needs to change, we are all worthy of being treated with respect and dignity. Remember words hurt, and once something is said there is no way to take it back. Don't forget the golden rule and treat others as you would like to be treated! Be a part of a positive change which will make our community more comprehensive to diversity. STOP Bullying, make an #IMPACT.

#IMPACT WEEK: Red Tuesday at CC.WINN

Students showed support by wearing red to make an #IMPACT and bring awareness to our community on Verbal and Physical Bullying.

“The language we use to communicate with one another is like a knife. In the hands of a careful and skilled surgeon, a knife can work to do great good. But in the hands of a careless or ignorant person, a knife can cause great harm, Exactly as it is with our words.”

Next time your going to be mean or be careless about your words, take a second and think about the quote above.
