Don't Forget to Fall Back this Weekend!
Remember that Parent/Teacher Conferences are this evening and tomorrow morning! We look forward to visiting with you about your child's learning and growing during this first quarter. Please also remember that visitors are required to wear a mask in the building. This does include parents during our parent teacher conferences.
No school tomorrow, November 5th for parent teacher conferences!
The Book Fair will be going on during conferences. Please stop by the library to see all the great books that are available to purchase!

November is Native American Heritage Month
November is Native American Heritage Month, and we are proud to celebrate and honor the rich history and culture of Native Americans and Indigenous people in the United States. We are especially proud to highlight some of our amazing Native faculty and staff who serve within Norman Public Schools. We value the many contributions they make on a daily basis to serve our students and families!

Parent Teacher Conferences this Evening & Tomorrow Morning!
As a reminder, visitors are required to wear a mask while in the building. This does include parents during conferences. Teachers will also be following social distancing guidelines during conferences as well.
Share Your Shelf - November 1st - 5th!
Washington Elementary will be participating in Share Your Shelf November 1st through 5th. Share Your Shelf is a community project that benefits The Christmas Store of Cleveland County. If you can, please send non perishable food items with your child during this week. Items you can send, but are not limited to, are below:

Bedtime Stories with the Book Club!
Cleveland County Christmas Store
The Christmas Store is a shopping opportunity for low-income persons who wish to create a meaningful Christmas for their families. Eligible Cleveland County families partner with community volunteers to prepare the Store site for shopping as a means of paying it forward for the opportunity to select gifts and food for their Christmas.
