Principal's Post

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Administrative team met with each grade level to reiterate exactly what The Raider Way means. We talked about dress code, PRIDE( perseverance, respect, integrity, dependability, and excellence), and giving 100% in the classroom. At lunch over 150 students signed the pledge to be kind and not bully others. Monday students and staff will wear all blue to show our support to "stomp out bullying". Please speak will your child about the importance of being kind to others. Jeans are permitted on Monday and students can wear any blue shirt, it does not have to have a collar.

October 25th - 29th is Red Ribbon Week. The theme is "Drug-Free Looks Like Me". Our counselors have planned an awesome week to inform students of the dangers of drug use, especially while their brains are still developing.

October 14th is the end of Quarter 1. Do not forget to check Canvas this weekend so any missing assignments can be completed. Strive for excellence!

Our 2nd PTO meeting is Monday, the 11th. The Zoom link is below. All are welcome.

*Reminder: No school for students on October 15th or October 18th

Have a wonderful weekend Raider Nation!

Warm Regards,

Heather Andrus

Emergency warning sirens are tested regularly to ensure they work properly. Testing is part of normal maintenance. No public action is necessary. The tests take place at specific dates and times to minimize inconvenience for plant neighbors. If you hear sirens and are not sure if it is a test or an emergency, tune to a local radio or television station listed in this booklet. During an emergency, these stations stop regular programming to provide information to the public. It is important to note that sirens may not necessarily be heard inside homes or businesses. Remember, hearing a siren does NOT mean you should evacuate. Local radio and television stations will provide information
