READING CLASS (ELA) with Mr. Yearick:
This week we learned about possessive and reflexive pronouns, and we read books with our fruit groups. The apples learned some fancy new words while reading about Donovan and his word collection, the bananas discussed the idea of conformity with a lamb and a butterfly, and the cucumbers read about the misadventures of a rubber duck lost at sea.
Next week we'll read some nonfiction and learn how to organize facts and details in writing. We'll also look at past tense verbs and prefixes
