Distance Learning Reminders
- Make sure your Google Classrooms are shared with both Cory and Anna. We checked them out together this week & realized only one of us had access to some of them.
- After this week, teachers, specialists, & paraprofessionals should not be in the building.
- Reach out to us if you need anything!
- Stay focused on our Distance Learning Expectations: Middle School Level
- Teachers please call students who are not actively participating.
- Contact Cory and Anna if your contact home does not have a positive impact on participation.
- Keep collaborating with each other- virtual PLCs
- Check in with each other- We all need adult conversation and connection, now more than ever!
- We will face challenges, but we will work through them.
- You are amazing people!
Distance Learning Difficulties & What To Do
1. If students are not logging on or engaging in class, please use the following process:
a. Reach out to the students via email.
b. Reach out to the parents via and ask for a reply.
c. Call parents who have not responded. (This number should be small.)
d. Refer remainder of students to counselor and Cory & Anna.
2. If you hear from families that they have needs (Chromebook, internet issues, etc.), please pass them along. We can help out in most cases. The district has also pushed out a Web Help form for students that can be found on their Launch Pad.
