Hello! My Name is Danielle Bennett. I am the founder of PR by Dani, which is a public relations group that specializes in working with up and coming artists and musicians.
I am also an admissions guide for the school Rolling Stone named as one of the Top 5 "Best Music Programs" in the county. It also ranked #7 of the Top 100 Social Media Colleges by StudentAdvisor.com. That being said, I have witnessed the power of social media and how it can be used to help artists:
• Connect with fans
• Promote new music
• Build an audience and keep an audience
• Network with industry professionals
• And share their music
These are the same tips I will be sharing with you. Success is when preparation meets opportunity. Social media is what can bring that opportunity your way. Dope beats and hot tracks are only good if others can hear it. Radio, television, and even live functions cost money. The cool thing about social media is that it is totally free. So you can connect with your fans, share your music, and promote your brand without digging into your pockets. Adding different media like videos, audio, and pictures are all great ways to connect with your audience and I will let you know which platforms are better for each kind of content you can use. You can utilize these tips to be like the passionate artists and musicians I have seen successfully use social media to gain opportunities in the music industry with artists like Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross and companies like Def Jam and Sony Entertainment.
You have to tune into the webinar to get this information so tell a singer to tell a rapper to tell a music producer. It will be a fun and insightful opportunity to learn some easy tips on how to make social media work for you and your music.
