Earthquakes PBL
The driving question for our earthquake PBL project was: How can we, as structural engineers, construct a two story house in California for Tony Stark that will withstand seismic activity? To answer this question we researched earthquake proof technology and how earthquakes worked. We then came up with the design below. It was a two story house with structual support and it was located in a low risk earthquake area in California.

Atmosphere 30 Hands Project
For my Atmosphere 30 Hands project I explained the importance and causes of climate change, global warming, and the greenhouse effect. I explained this by creating slides pictures and captions about the topics on PicCollage. I then was able to creeate the final product below using what we have learned in Science class

Invention Convention
The invention that my partners and I made was the water reuser outlet and the problem our invention solves is overuse of water. The average person alone uses 80-100 gallons of water a day. With the Water Reuser Outlet though some of that water will be reused to power an oulet that you can use to charge your phone, curl your hair, or power a blender. This invention works by collecting the leftover water from your drain to turn a turbine inside of it. From here the turbine powers a generator that produces electricity and is connected to your oulet.
Favorite Unit
My favorite unit that we have done the year was our Unit 5 Atmosphere unit. I liked the atmosphere unit because we learned about Earth's atmosphere which allows living things to inhabit it. Some activities that we did in this unit included our Layers of the atmosphere activity where we label the parts of the atmosphere and what's located there. Another activity we did in this unit was our padlet atmosphere group presentation. This was where we answered any questions we had related to our atmosphere.
