Nitrogen Cycle
Most plants get the nitrogen they need from soil. Many farmers use fertilizers to add nitrogen to the soil to help plants grow larger and faster. The nitrogen cycle also describes how nitrogen moves between plants, animals, bacteria, the atmosphere (the air), and soil in the ground.
Nitrogen Cycle
What are the impacts
Nitrous oxide contributes to overall greenhouse warming, it deplete and thin the ozone layer. Increases in tree deaths, loss of biodiversity and acidification of lakes and streams. It also reduces the overall species diversity.
