With Mr. Warrenfeltz
In math, we will review fraction content from our unit and students will take an end of unit assessment at the end of the week. In science, we will begin a new unit focused on how patterns are used to transfer information. Students will learn about a variety of types of codes including hieroglyphics, binary, and morse code.
With Mrs. Hartley
In ELA, students will compare and contrast the point of view from which different stories are narrated, including the difference between first- and third-person narrations. They will start by exploring the different types of traditional literature, examining the subtle differences between them. Next, they will read and analyze a fable, specifically discussing the moral, the point of view, and the way the point of view impacts the story. Lastly, they will choose a fable that they like to rewrite in first person from a character’s point of view.
