Chapman Chargers Update
Guizzetti's Weekly Update
Week of 9/11/2017
First Week!
It has been great to see all the learning that is happening in the classrooms! I have seen community building activities, engineering lessons, students sharing their knowledge and ideas with each other and a lot of engaging and fun lessons! Thank your child's teacher when you see him/her. They put in endless hours to make every day an amazing learning experience for your child.
The first PTO meeting is THIS week! I hope everyone can attend. There will be an overview of this year's activities, information about the Color Run and Shawn Stirling will be joining us from the board office to review the bond proposal that is up for a vote in November. I hope that all of you can attend!
We are still working on our parking lots and building being as safe as possible for our students. Thank you for those that have shared suggestions. Just a reminder to never park your car in the loop. This is unsafe and slows drop off and pick up down tremendously. Thank you parents for honoring my request of not blocking the front doors at dismissal times. Dismissal (especially for our kindergartners) has gone much more smoothly!
Remember that if you are visiting Chapman to always stop into the office, sign in, and get a name tag or visitor's badge. It is very important that we know who is in the building at all times.
