Wildlight Elementary School

Fun Run

What an amazing success our Fun Run was! The students had a blast and we not only met our goal, but EXCEEDED it by about $2,000! Thank you so much for your support for our school! We appreciate you more than you know!

Celebrate Literacy Week

Students in Mrs. Vasquez's 2nd-grade classroom were treated to read aloud by Dr. Burns.

The students enjoyed listening to Dr. Burns during their carpet time.

Our students truly enjoyed the authors, Mr. Price and Mr. Regina. Both authors shared their books and talked with students about being an author.

Trailblazers Explore History

The 4th-grade students, teachers, and parents were able to experience a guided historical tour through Fernandina’s Fort Clinch, along with a guided nature walk highlighting some of North’s Florida’s unique forestry and wildlife surrounding the fort. Everyone had a great experience learning about our local community's history.

Dr. Seuss Week

We had a great time celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday week with a few dress up days, DEAR time with The Cat in the Hat, and fun Dr. Seuss themed centers in the library! What a great week!

All Pro Dads

Our monthly All Pro Dad meeting had an awesome turn out last month with over 110 students and dads in attendance. Josh Reavis provided a meaningful message and the kids and dads alike enjoyed a yummy breakfast from Chick-fil-A. Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:50 in the cafeteria for an awesome uplifting time!
