Wildlight Elementary School
Celebrate Literacy Week
Students in Mrs. Vasquez's 2nd-grade classroom were treated to read aloud by Dr. Burns.
The students enjoyed listening to Dr. Burns during their carpet time.
Our students truly enjoyed the authors, Mr. Price and Mr. Regina. Both authors shared their books and talked with students about being an author.

Kindergarten Habitat Projects
The Kindergarten students at Wildlight Elementary completed Animal Habitat projects as a science and writing activity during their animals unit.
The students used various resources to research a favorite wild animal of their choosing. Then they got creative by using boxes to build a habitat for their animal! They included crafting materials, as well as items from nature to make their diorama!
The Kindergartners presented their work and shared facts about their animals in front of their class before displaying their project on stage for other grade levels to view. Nice work!
