RECENT COMMON AREA IMPROVEMENTS
Just as Covington Place homeowners regularly perform maintenance on our lawns, the HOA has recently performed some much needed sprucing up of our Common Areas around the neighborhood.
Pine straw was added to the Main Entrance, the Pool Area & Playground, and other common areas all over the neighborhood (i.e. Parkside, Turnberry, Eagles Pointe, Crestview/Pinewood). Fresh long-needle pine straw was used so that it makes the most impact.
Some pressure washing was done, as well as other minor maintenance such as adding an ADA ramp in the pool parking lot.
One big project was the lighting project at the Front Entrance. If you've not driven in the Front Entrance at night then you owe it to yourself to do so as it looks very impressive. Lynn Atkinson headed up this effort and gave many hours of his time to make this area look it's best.
You may also have noticed the new large metal sphere hanging in the middle of the front pergola. This was added to enhance the new appearance of the front entrance. The large Covington Place signs on the stacked stone walls are being renovated back to their original condition and will be dark green/gold when completed.
The HOA asks that all residents treat every Common Area in the neighborhood with the same respect that you would for your neighbor's property. Please do not place any unbagged grass clippings or unbagged yard debris on any of the new pine straw beds. Please make sure that these beds are kept in as good of shape as they were the day they were installed.
Don't forget that all grass clippings and yard debris must now be placed in bags and not piled on the street, curb, or gutters.
