A.B. Chandler T-Shirt Order
Order forms were sent home on September 4th for parents and other family
members to order a new "Be Kind" A.B. Chandler shirt. Orders and money are due no later than Friday, September 21st.
House Showcase
Students from the silver and purple houses shared their talents with the school at our first House Showcase. These leaders shared skills such as hula hooping, soccer, gymnastics, basketball, and singing. Each house also shared their service learning project for the year and their house chant.

School Nurse News
Please remember that students cannot bring
medications to school. Parent must bring the medications into the office with the proper labels and paperwork, this includes cough drops.
Also, please send in updated immunization forms with the Hepatitis A vaccine.

Bus Notes
A bus note must be sent to school when a student needs to the ride the bus to a location other than home.
Attendance Tips for Parents
Let your child know that good attendance is important:
- Attendance is a parent and student responsibility. Let your child know that you think attending school daily is important. Show them you are interested in their school activities and tell them that you want them to do well in school.
- Good attendance habits start at an early age. Make sure your child goes to school regularly and on time. This helps them develop a positive view of school and the importance of attendance.
- Discuss with your student that arriving to school on time and to report to class when dropped off.
- Become involved in your child’s school life and school activities.

Tutoring Opportunities
BUG (Bringing Up Grades) will be every Wednesday
from 2:30 - 3:45.
Students can ride the late bus home from BUG Club.
Beginning Monday, September 10, Early Bird Tutoring will begin each morning.
Monday - Thursday from 7:00 - 7:30 in the teachers' eating area.
Box Tops for Education
Help us raise money for A.B. Chandler by collecting box tops. Please send them in monthly so the box tops don't expire.
