Find a new trail to take a family hike or just get out in the fresh air and take a family walk around the block. Leave the distractions and technology at home. Have your child pick to the topic of conversation.

How long have you been at BBI? 16 years
Where are you from and where did you grow up? I am from Conroe and grew up there.
What inspired you to work with children? I was close with one of my cousins who had special needs and it just went from there.
What is your favorite book? To Kill A Mockingbird
What was your favorite subject in school? History
If you could learn to do one thing, what would it be? I'd love to learn ways to calm myself and de-stress.
If you could have any other career, what would it be? If I could have any other job it would be something working outside.
Who do you consider your hero? My hero is the everyday person that steps up and does what is needed.
People would be surprised to know… I worked for Crime Stoppers taking tips calls.

What inspired you to work with children? I can't point at any one thing other than I can't imagine doing anything else.

If you could have any other career, what would it be? Is there a job where you can read all day?
Who do you consider your hero? My Mama
People would be surprised to know…I grew up on a farm and spent summers plowing on a tractor, building fence, and working cattle.

BBIS General Information
Early morning child care begins at 6:30 a.m. and all students must be enrolled online through the MISD website.
The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m. The instructional day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m.
