December 15, 2017
It is so amazing that we are coming to the end of 2017 and that in just a couple of weeks we will be embracing 2018!!
I want to take this moment to thank you for sharing your children with us!! Your children are your most valued treasures and so your support and trust must be recognized and appreciated. We value and treasure your children and you as our Midway family. Through our relationships we work together in bringing success to each child! Thank you!
The Sing-a-Long was absolutely precious! Our students' musical talents just amaze me! The Chorus, Honor Choir Members, Guitarists, and Strings just make my heart so proud and Midway shine. Thank you to Ms. Rogers, Ms. Trent, and Ms. Miller for the hours of support and time they spend with our students!
Next week will be filled with excitement and the making of memories. Learning continues in the classroom through content and social experiences. Winter Celebrations and selected learning opportunities will highlight the last three days of 2017. These are very valuable days in learning and memory making so please know that your child's attendance is truly appreciated.
Please enjoy the weekend and read a great book with your child! Now is the time to build traditions...pick a favorite book for reading every year!
Yours truly,
Jan Fickling, Principal of Midway Elementary
