Dearest 2021 Graduate,
Congratulations! How exciting! You are almost finished. Can you believe it? It’s a busy time of year so here are some details to keep you informed. Also keep working hard. Your passing grades matter.
Graduation Info
The ceremony will be on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Jessie’s Grove 1973 West Turner Road, Lodi, CA 95242.
*Please wear appropriate shoes for grass/field at graduation.
Graduation Time Information:
Vista Oaks will be hosting 3 small ceremonies to celebrate our graduates. Graduates will be assigned to a ceremony time based on their Advisor.
12:00 Graduation Ceremony - For graduates who have Lori Doty or Kristen Hatch as an Advisor
2:00 Graduation Ceremony - For graduates who have Mari Samuels, Kathy Mayo, or Al Seyford as an Advisor
4:00 Graduation Ceremony - For graduates who have Estella Freeman, Shannon Linn, Ashlee Guthrie, or Matt Shears as an Advisor
Tickets: As mentioned, graduates will be allowed up to 6 guests. Tickets for each graduate will be included when students pick up their cap and gown.
Important Reminders:
Arrive 15-30 Minutes Before Ceremony - Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before your ceremony begins.
Dressed and Ready - Come dressed and ready to go.
Appropriate Shoes - Wear appropriate shoes for the setting. The ceremony will take place in a grass area, so make sure you are wearing shoes that will allow you to walk comfortably and confidently.
Seating: All 6 guests for each graduate will be grouped together.
Caps: Can be decorated. Please keep in mind that it should be appropriate for school purposes. We will have extra caps in case they are needed.
Cap & Gown Care Instructions:
How to Wear Your Cap and Gown
Press the gown with a cool iron.
The cap should be placed forward on your head with the short point almost between your eyebrows.
Caps may slip so use bobby bins to secure them to your head.
The tassel is to be placed to the right side of the board, over your eye.
Congratulations, Graduates! You are almost to the finish line.

We love when our students are able to share concerns with us directly, but having an anonymous option is really helpful for some! We have a safety line in place for this.
STUDENTS CAN EASILY AND CONFIDENTIALLY REPORT THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS:
- BULLYING
- PEERS IN CRISIS
- PLANNED FIGHTS
- THREATS OF VIOLENCE
- OTHER URGENT SITUATIONS
