Williamson Middle School Library
Annual Report 2017-2018
Welcome from Mrs. Schauf and Mrs. Prater
This year has been an absolute joy. Although it is the first year in this district, I feel right at home. I attest this to the kind and welcoming students and staff of Williamson. I hope you reflect on this report and see how the library has grown and advanced this year.
We've accomplished a whole lot, in a short amount of time and will continue to shoot for the stars. We strive for the very best books and programs for our students and teachers.

Book Bucks
Book Bucks is a program that is open to all 5th through 8th graders. For every 100 pages, a student reads they will receive 1 Book Buck. They can then use those Book Bucks to exchange for things from your library store.
- Tally your reading starting with things you have read after January 1st
- All reading counts - you can read anything (kindle, magazine, graphic novel, novel, nonfiction, fiction) for any reason (assignment or pleasure)
- You must complete a Book Buck Form either online or in the library.
- You must use full sentences when completing the forms.
Congratulations to Cutman00000000 for submitting the most pages read this year!
Students submitted a total of 34,113 pages from January - June 2018!
Book Bucks Top Readers!
Community Collaboration
We also have an ongoing relationship with the Williamson Public Library. This year we had the opportunity for the public librarians to come in and speak about the summer reading program. This is a great way to keep kids reading over the summer!
