MSHS Counseling Newsletter
9/16/2021
It is that time of year that our Counseling staff is required by the district to screen the student body for depression and suicide. This year we will be doing one grade level a week. They will be given a recorded presentation to watch, then login into Google Classroom for their graduating year, and complete the Google Form survey. This will take place during an extended Pride Time for the day of the designated grade level. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact :

Career Exploration with the ASVAB program
#whatsyourdreamjob
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-choice test that helps students identify which types of jobs would be best for them. The ASVAB is a great career planning tool.
Your ASVAB score can qualify you for certain jobs and training in the Armed Forces. You can use your score for military enlistment including the Reserves or National Guard. Taking the ASVAB does not obligate you to consider a military career or meet with a military recruiter.
