ASL Guest Visitors from Sherman ISD
On October 27, Melissa High School’s American Sign Language Program welcomed nine elementary students (ranging grades K-6) from Sherman ISD's Deaf Education program. The students spent four class periods at the high school, including lunch. The Sherman ISD Deaf Ed students alongside the Melissa High School ASL students completed a Halloween Catapult project, took a tour of the Melissa High School campus, ate pizza, read books, and got a surprise visit from Birdie!
MHS Student Recognized by State Representative
Mathieson received a congratulatory bill that had been introduced and read at the State House. This recognition is given to high achieving students and teachers in the state of Texas.

Congratulations Lady Cardinal Volleyball
Congrats to the Lady Cardinal Volleyball team for clinching 2nd in District 13-5A with an overall record of 31-9. The community is invited to Trunk or Treat on Monday, Oct. 30. from 5-7 p.m. in the High School Parking Lot.

Nutcracker 2023

Melissa Education Foundation "Crazy for Cards" Fundraising Campaign
From now through the end of October, for a $35 donation to the Melissa Education Foundation (MEF), you can get your very own “Crazy for Cards” yard sign. Proceeds from the campaign support Melissa ISD student scholarships and teacher grants. Sit With Us
Sit With Us is a monthly discussion group to address concerns, ask questions and determine ways to collectively work toward solutions with your child’s campus administration. The philosophy of Sit With Us is that Melissa parents are Cardinal Champions who see the best for not only their students but for all students. If it matters to one Cardinal, it matters to all Cardinals.
