Back to the Future
At the town hall we talked about decisions that we are making in November that will affect us in January. With the recent surge in coronavirus cases in Virginia and throughout the country, perhaps a better movie reference would have been Groundhog Day. I know it feels like many days since March have looked like a repeat of the day prior.
Next week’s theme- Community. As we continue with difficult decisions, a resounded theme I heard on Thursday was building community. How do we help 6th graders get ready to be in the building for the first time? How can we keep our students and staff safe? What extracurricular activities are available for both distant and in-person students? We were able to share some of those answers on Thursday.
With the Turkey Trot being this coming Saturday, we are excited to get back together safely again. We also know that Governor Northam has added new restrictions in place. They currently do not affect our pilot or our planned events. We will update you immediately if there are any changes.
