HSA Halloween Party 10/28
Our HSA Halloween Party is coming up on Fri., Oct. 28th at 6 p.m. in the Hall of Heroes. Permission slips for 7&8 graders helping with the Haunted Hallway have come home. Sign ups for items and service hours can be found here. The cost to attend the party is $5 per person, paid at the door. Students must come in regular uniform to school and change later. There will be food, crafts, a DJ, Haunted Hallway (additional $5 cost), and more! -Mrs. Santellano
Halloween at SJDLS Classes have Halloween Parties in the afternoon on 10/31. Students PreK-4th grade may wear costumes (nothing scary, must be able to get in/out of it for the restroom, no weapons). Students in Grades 5-8 may wear a Halloween Shirt (orange or black) with school appropriate bottoms (no rips, not revealing, etc). | Math Night Math Night is coming up on Thursday, November 3rd at 6 p.m. We will start in the Hall of Heroes but activities will take place throughout the building. All families attending will receive 1 Service Hour and a free dinner will be provided. Come to connect with teachers on Math standards and curriculum in a fun way! | 8th Grade Parent Night It's time to start planning for the Class of 2023! 8th grade parents and students should plan to attend on Thursday, November 3rd at 5 p.m. in the STEM lab to make plans for our 8th grade fundraisers and end of the year events. It will take place BEFORE the Family Math Night, so you don't need to make two trips. |

Bio: Mr. Elliott Hardy
My name is Mr. Elliott Hardy, and I am the 2nd grade teacher here at St. John de la Salle Catholic Academy, I am so excited to be here with the school. I am a proud graduate of Marist High School, Chicago, IL and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale, IL. Upon graduation from S. I.U.C. I remained in Carbondale and worked as a Preschool Teacher where I developed lasting relationships with parents and children alike. Previously, I was the kindergarten teacher at Pope John Paul II Catholic School in Chicago, Illinois. I have been in the educational field for over 6 years now. I have a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University and Master of Science in Education, with emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University- Portland. I am currently working on my Master’s in Education from National Louis University.
