Take Heart: Jump Rope for Heart
Our school is proud to partner with the American Heart Association
and participate in Jump Rope For Heart!
Over the next few weeks, we will be learning about how to take care of our hearts, spreading the message to friends and family, and helping others when we can!
The American Heart Association’s goal is to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans. They will challenge our kids to start living a healthy lifestyle now to prevent problems later; and give them an opportunity to participate in a service learning project that funds the fight against heart diseases and stroke – the #1 and #5 cause of death in our country.
· Any student wo raises at least $5 will receive Rory the Lion & lanyard!

Lobo Loot Donations Needed to Support Students!
This week over 10 golden passes where drawn that were in the treasure chest! Some students screamed out in the rooms with excitement when their name was called during video announcements!
Please consider donating items so high need items can be replaced: sour patches, hot Cheetos, current hot items such as Pokemon, sports, etc. If you don't know what to buy, you could donate cash or a gift card and specify for the Lobo Loot store. We have volunteers ready to shop to fill a store that is at it's best when filled with inventory to sell.

LEarning @ Prestwick
In 1st grade one student, Olivia, wrote a book about Tennis. She had several chapters in her story and amazing detail. She went upstairs with Mrs. Graves and shared her story with two 7th grade classes. She carried herself with confidence! Way to go Olivia!
There were also a lot of 100 year old students in the building on Friday, as it was the 100th day of school! Many students in Kinder and 1st grade went all out and moseyed into school! Very creative ensembles were seen! We told them to get some rest this weekend!
We also like to hold up our A honor students in middle school for making straight As in all of their seven classes for the first semester! It is not an easy feat, and it takes a lot of long nights of studying, completing working, and critical thinking to set the bar continuously that high. These students got to have an afternoon at Urban Air Trampoline in Frisco, TX. They loved the experience and fun, and then student also got to just relax when they got back. Something they probably do not do as much because they are so persistent in their achievements! Pictured below are 6th, 7th and 8th grade A honor roll students.
