Hello Warrior Family!!
I hope all of our mothers had a great Mothers Day!
14 days of school! 14 days to bring up grades, improve attendance, prepare for graduation, prepare for next school year, and many other chances to improve our current situation. Make the best of it and keep going forward - end the school year on a strong note.
Attendance is very important right now, remember, students only get three (3) parent noted per semester!! you must use those wisely, once they are used, you can only be excused based upon a doctors excuse.
Please pay attention to each section below, there is very important information - dates, times, cost, etc - to each event
It's a great day to be a Warrior!!

Track Team Results from State
We are very proud of our track team as they participated in Track this past weekend in Gulf Shores.
- Girls 4A 4 x 400 State Champs
- Boys 4A 4 X 400 State Runner-Up
- Boys 4A 4 x 100 State Champs
- Girls 4A 4 x 100 State Champs
We also had many personal records, school records, and top five finishers. We are very proud of our coaches and track team!!
Final Exams
Final exams will be given May 25 - 26. The schedule will be as follows:
Wednesday, May 25
3rd Block - 11:25 - 1:25
4th Block - 1:30 - 3:00
Thursday, May 26
1st Block - 7:40 - 9:10
2nd Block - 9:25 - 10:55
Students must have a person from their checkout list come check them out. No written check-out slips will be accepted.
Chromebook Turn-In
All Chromebooks (and chargers) must be turned in by Thursday, May 19. Homeroom teachers will be taking Chromebooks up during the week of May 16 - 20. All students must turn in their Chromebook or they will have to pay for it.
- 9th - 11th Grade - if they do not turn in their Chromebook, they will not be able to pick up a schedule
- Seniors - if they do not turn in a Chromebook, they will not be able to walk at graduation. All debts must be paid prior to graduation.
2023 Senior Portraits
2023 Senior Portraits will be July 13th & 14th. Juniors need to check your email for information regarding their senior portrait appointments
Graduation Attire Requirements
The following is graduation attire requirements for seniors:
Guys
- White button-up shirt with dark dress pants.
- Black or brown shoes or boots.
- Dark Tie or bowtie
Girls
- Black dress that does not show below the gown
- Black medium/flat heel shoes are recommended due to a lot of walking
- No flip flops
ATTENDANCE Guidelines
When a student is a absent, they have 3 days to turn in their excuse after returning to school.
After three days, the excuse will be coded unexcused.
- Students can have three (3) parent notes per semester. Additional absences must be documented with a doctors excuse.
- Students can not make up work from unexcused absences. Student will be given a zero for missing assignments.

2022 Warrior Football Schedule
The 2022 Warrior Football Schedule is out!!
CCHS is now in the North, which means a new region. Our new region consist of:
- Good Hope
- Oneonta
- Hanceville
- Fultondale
- Etowah
- Ashville
GoFan
Starting with basketball season, all CCHS athletic tickets will be purchased through GoFan!
Tardy To School/Class
Be sure to ask your child about tardy to school/class. When students are tardy to school/class, they are given a tardy. Students should be keeping up with the number of tardies they have received.
When a student receives five (5) tardies, they will be placed in ISS for one day. When they receive ten (10) tardies, they will be in ISS for 2 days.
It is very important that students arrive to classes and school on time. Please help us enforce this by having conversations with your child about being tardy.
Tutoring
CCHS offers tutoring before school & after school!!
- Morning: 7:00 - 7:30
- Afternoon: 3:00 - 5:00
This is offered everyday (Monday - Friday)
