Miss Miserendino's Classroom
Weekly Newsletter: March 16-20, 2015
Content Convered this week!
Throughout the week, students worked through hands on experiences, individual activities, group work, and discussion. For science, we learned about how plants grow. Students were able to identify the steps and plant their own flower in class that will be watched over the course of the next couple weeks for continued growth! Math included how to multiply decimals. Students were able to realize the concepts behind multiplying decimals through group work and activities such as developing a rap to remember concepts! . Lastly, English had the students learn about cursive! At the end of the week students were able to then write 5-6 sentences and mail a letter home. Overall, the students are great achievers and a pleasure to have in class!
(A Preview...) Next week we will be covering the Water Cycle, how to divide up fractions, and how to rhyme!
