Enroll in 4-H Today!
Members MUST have their enrollments complete by June 15 to exhibit at the county fair.
Shooting sports members MUST be enrolled and consents must be signed before they are allowed to practice or compete.
ALL members are strongly encouraged to enroll before they begin meeting with their clubs.

Chase County 4-H Member/Parent Meeting
New for 2023, we will be hosting a Member/Parent meeting to kick off the Chase County 4-H Year. This is open to returning families and newer families or families interested in learning about 4-H are highly encouraged to attend! Learn about the basics of the 4-H program in Chase County, meet Club Leaders, become informed on any changes for 2023 and ask questions!!

Chase County 4-H Carnival
Back by popular demand, the 4-H Carnival!
What: Fundraiser for Chase County 4-H Council, funds raised support Senior Scholarships and Enrichment Scholarships
Date: Friday, March 24 (tentative)
Location: Chase County Fairgrounds
Time: 7-9 PM
The 4-H Carnival is considered a mandatory event in Chase County. Families are expected to donate items to the Country Store, a cake for the Cake Walk, and help at their club or independent member booths. There are fines for failure to help at the carnival. More information will be coming next month!

Great Plains Livestock Judging Circuit 2023
- Mark your calendars! The Great Plains Livestock Judging Circuit 2023 schedule is now available, and it all kicks off on Saturday, February 18, at the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic in Kearney, NE. Find rules and schedule at https://4h.unl.edu/great-plains-livestock-judging-circuit
UNL Livestock Judging Camp
Looking to level up your livestock evaluation and oral reason skills? Make plans to attend this year’s UNL Livestock Judging Camp on June 7-9 in Lincoln. Registration is $300 and is due by Monday, May 22. Learn more at https://animalscience.unl.edu/winners-unlimited-judging-camp
Horse Judging School
The annual Nebraska 4-H Horse Judging School is coming up on Saturday, February 25. All horse show judges, aspiring judges, judging team coaches, and youth are invited to learn about Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, Reining, and 4-H Horse Show Rules and Guidelines. https://animalscience.unl.edu/horse-judging-school
Horse Stampede
- : The Nebraska 4-H Horse Stampede will be held Saturday, March 25, in Lincoln. This event features a variety of horse contests that do not require live animals, including public speaking, demonstration, quiz bowl, art, and photography. Registration is due by Monday, March 6. Ag Innovators
- Nebraska 4-H is still accepting applications for teens interested in facilitating the Ag Innovators Experience in their local communities. The 2023 Ag Innovators Experience, Aerial Ag Challenge, engages participants in modeling a sprayer drone’s flight path based on drone-collected images and environmental conditions, using line-following bot technology. Teen facilitator applications are due Wednesday, March 1, and a facilitator training will be held on Saturday, March 11, in Grand Island. SOAR Worskshop Series
- The SOAR Workshop Series provides youth and their canine companion with an opportunity to develop and practice Showmanship, Obedience, Agility, and Rally skills under the guidance of experienced clinicians. While youth will benefit from participating in each workshop in the series, it is also not required. We encourage youth to join any of the workshops even if they cannot attend them all.
