COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION FOR NEWTON
Please Get Your 12+ Student Vaccinated Against COVID-19!
As we prepare for the 2021-22 school year, our top priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. We are in regular communication with Newton Health and Human Services to monitor and assess the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Newton HHS has shared that vaccinations are the most effective tool against COVID-19 and against the spread of the virus, including the development and spread of new variants.
The most important thing we can do right now as a community is vaccinate all students currently eligible for the vaccine. Together with HHS, we are encouraging ALL ELIGIBLE STUDENTS to be vaccinated prior to the start of school.
Vaccines and appointments are widely available in Newton, and some accept walk-ins. Here are the locations:

The state provides in-home vaccinations for anyone 12 and older who is unable to get to a vaccine location. Call 833-983-0485 Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. to register.
