We're So Hoppy at School!
a review of our eggcelent week
This Week
During speech, we read Quick as a Cricket, then identified a variety of animals and described their characteristics. We talked about where Bunny was hiding (e.g., in a lunchbox, on a bed, under a blanket, etc.). We also read Whose Nose and Toes, and used the clues to guess which animal was going to be on the next page. This targeted our possessive 's (e.g., it's cow's nose and toes). Then we worked on adding plural -s to a variety of Easter objects (e.g., one flower, two flowers; one egg, three eggs, etc.). During P.E., we rode on scooter boards to pop bubbles all over the room.
With our friends from Room 4, we took turns while playing Caribou and finding puzzle pieces in the water beads. In the toy area, we played with the farm set and had a birthday/dress up party. We also practiced jumping off the ground with two feet and danced around during musical chairs!
We had a new friend start in our class this week - welcome to Room 17, Ayaan!!
Upcoming Events
Next week we will be doing a dinosaur theme! A reminder that there will be no school the following week (April 4-8).
Happy Easter for those celebrating!
