Veterans Day Breakfast: RSVP by Tuesday, November 6th!!
We will be hosting the annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, November 12th at 8:30 a.m. Please click on the link below to learn more on how Lincoln School will honor those that serve, or have served, our country. Be sure to complete the invitation and send it back to the office.

Our wonderful PTA is providing the opportunity for each student to pick out 1 book.
K-2nd students may choose a book up to $5.00, 3rd-5th up to $7.00.
Students do not need to be sent with money or permission to choose this book.
Cash, Credit, and Check will be accepted as payment.
Please make checks payable to: "Anderson’s Bookfair Company".
Your child may purchase books, bookmarks, and pencils during the school day, but will need to bring money in a marked envelope or bag. Please mark it with your students’ name and “Book Fair”. Please note these items may not be returned.
You may also purchase books during the Parent/Teacher conferences in the evenings.
Our book fair is provided by: Anderson's Bookfair Company.

STEM Expo 2018
Bring the family out for a fun night of STEM activities and raise money for students in District 200!
Students will have the opportunity to visit over 40 exhibits and participate in hands-on STEM experiments. View a full list of exhibitors on our website. (insert link http://studentexcellencefoundation.org/event/stem-expo-2018/)
This event is geared towards elementary and middle school students and all students should be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve your tickets in advance, this event is very popular and has sold out in the past.
We are also collaborating with the Wheaton-Warrenville Special Needs PTA and will open the exhibits at 5:30 pm for families with special needs to attend and explore.

Parking
Parking is available in the lot in front of the school, an overflow lot near the fields, and there are parking spots around the perimeter of the building. There is also a small parking lot available off of Galusha Ave.

Box Tops
1st Classroom Collection Contest ended Thurs 10/18/18
Thank you for turning in all the Box Tops. We clipped a grand total of 4,023 Box Tops for $402.30! Way to go Lincoln. The top three classes to clip Box Tops were all 3rd grade!
The winner of the classroom indoor recess game/book is Mr Ellison's 3rd grade class who clipped 552 Box Tops! Rounding out the top 3 classes are Ms Scherzer with 468 Box Tops clipped & Mrs Reid with 372 Box Tops clipped. Congratulations Mr Ellison!
Keep clipping those Box Tops & saving them in your refrigerator collection bag. Remember you can send them in to your teacher any time of the year for our next contest ending in March.

On Tuesday, November 6th from 5pm-8pm, the Portillo's at 1500 Butterfield Rd, Downers Grove, will donate 20% of Dine-in or Take-out orders to Lincoln.
