6th Grade Gillette Field Trip!
Student Council
Student council would like to remind you that we are in the middle of our canned food drive. It will end on Friday, October 28th. The prize for the class with the most items brought in is a movie with popcorn. Thank you all for your support and for donating to the food pantry.
This activity ties in with our Pride themes, specifically respect and empathy. We are always striving to show respect and empathy to those in need. If we are able to help others, we should always take the opportunity to do so.
We are also very excited to announce that costume day is Friday, October 28th. Your costume must be a school appropriate costume meaning no violent costumes, no masks, no weapons, and it must not interfere with your normal school day. Make sure that you can remove any part of your costume if necessary. We can’t wait to see everyone in their costumes. Have fun and be creative!
Trunk or Treat
On Saturday, October 29th, the NHS will be sponsoring their TRUNK OR TREAT for children. It will take place in the MSHS school parking lot from 2-4:30 pm. A donation of $5 per child is appreciated. All proceeds will go to the NHS scholarships. If families would like to donate bags of candy it would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the main office.
