PARENT RESOURCES/VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Parent volunteers are vital to our corporation's success! The time they dedicate to our classrooms and field trips is invaluable. Center Grove Community School Corporation (CGCSC) welcomes all parent volunteers.
In order to go on Field Trips or volunteer in your child's classroom be sure to complete the required background check. This is done online at our Corporation website. Depending on circumstances, this process can take up to two weeks, so be sure to do this now so it is done. These are good for two years from the date they are approved.

VISITING FOR LUNCH? GOING TO YOUR CHILD'S CLASSROOM?
Just a reminder that you MUST have your ID (driver's license) with you any time you are having lunch with your child or volunteering in their classroom. Presently, our Lobby Guard is in the lobby located to the right of the doors to the office. As soon as our new security sign-in system (Raptor) is implemented, we will begin using it instead. Raptor will be located inside the office at the office assistant's desk (Debbie Lloyd). It is a very quick and easy means to entering the building securely.
FOOD SERVICE FREE/REDUCED APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2019.
These can be picked up in the school office or by visiting the Corporation website on the link below. If you would rather fill it out electronically, log on to your student's Skyward account and click on the Food Service tab on the left hand side bar.
This applies to those students who...
- were previously on Free/Reduced lunch, (as your current standing will expire in September),
- had a change in current status from last year and find you are needing assistance,
- have a kindergartner and have not applied for Free/Reduced assistance before.
