The Assassination Of
Archduke Franz Ferdinand
How the assassination provoked war
The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was "the cherry on the top of the ice cream sundae" -Bella. Austria decided starting a war would level out Serbia, and to take away their power. Germany and Austria decide on their own they would dispose of Serbia, even though they were allies with Russia.
Without the second A in M.A.N.I.A, the war most likely would've happened regardless.
Gavrilo Princip
Gavrilo Princip (19 y/o) was the teenager who killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand. He tried to shoot himself after the assassination, and failed, then afterwards tried to drink poison, and that failed as well, due to him throwing up.
He was pat of a group of 5 teenagers called Blackhand.

though it bounced out, and they sped up, taking a wrong turn, in which Gavrilo Princip would take advantage of. He ended up shooting both Ferdinand and Sophie, killing Sophie instantly. Archduke Franz Ferdinand died a few minutes after help came. June 28 also happened to be Ferdinand and Sophie's wedding anniversary.
