Notes from Dr. Irvin
Your WGHS Weekly eNews for October 17
Hello Parents and Guardians,
Thanks to all that have either attended conferences last week or reached out to our staff to support your students. I am confident that investment of time will pay dividends going forward as I am confident our staff are very much engaged in trying to problem-solve on behalf of students.
As we close in on the end of the quarter, we see wrap-up of some fall sports, concerts, and fall musical. I hope that you will get a chance to enjoy our students in one of those activities.
Best,
Matt Irvin

Webster Groves High School
German American Partnership Program
On Saturday, October 19, 12 students from Germany and two of their teachers will be arriving in Webster Groves as part of the German American Partnership Program. This program allows students from the German classes at WGHS to host an exchange student in the fall for two and a half weeks. While the German students are in the United States, they will visit NYC and Chicago, and while in St. Louis, they will shadow their host student at WGHS. The WGHS students will in turn visit Germany this summer with Mr. Mackey and Mr. Kraus from the high school. They will stay with the families of the students they hosted this fall.
