Sunday and Every Day: Taking it Home
In honor of upcoming spring holidays (Purim and Easter) and our Source of Jewish and Christian traditions this year, last Sunday the children learned about a parable of Jesus (The Good Samaritan) and about Esther.
Discuss it at home:
1. Who is your neighbor? Who are the people you should take care of? Who will take care of you?
2. When a people are in a new land, how should they be treated? How can we care for the refugee and the immigrant?
3. What does it feel like to be a refugee or an immigrant? How can you feel good about (or pride in) who you are?
Social Justice Action:
1. Support AIDNW and their mission to support immigrants in detention in the Northwest. https://aidnw.org/
Spiritual Practice:
Celebrate the coming of spring by making your yard welcoming to wildlife!
