Questions & Answers

PLEASE READ- Several great questions this week!

Have questions? Maybe we can help! Please click here to submit a question for us to review.

Field Trip Questions:

Q: Can a grandparent or other family member attend the field trip or be a chaperone?

A: Yes, they just need to complete the background check through this link.

Q: I am considering chaperoning but I am wondering how many kids would be in my group?

A: We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the field trip with their child. Let us know what you are comfortable with however, all groups will be kept small.

Q: My child participates in a half-day program. How does that work with the field trip times?

A: For the day of the field trip, your child will attend the full field trip time which is approximately 8:30-2:00.

Kinder Round Up Question:

Q: My child will attend kindergarten next year. Do we need to attend Kinder Round Up?

A: Kinder Round Up is not mandatory. A registration packet is coming home in folders today with the required paperwork and forms needed to register. Some parents choose to attend to be able to meet the kinder teachers, see the classrooms, or turn in paperwork early. Also, daycares with after school programs may have information tables set up.

*note: if your child will be attending a different NISD campus next year, we can send their packet to their next school-just let us know.
