A Message From Our Superintendent

Dear GPISD Parents/Guardians and Families,

It's June! Folks, we have almost made it to the finish line! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the encouragement and support throughout this unusual year. I hope you all felt the love and support from me and other district leaders as we have all navigated through unprecedented challenges and opportunities for new and innovative problem-solving and growth.

During this year's summer break, I especially urge each of you to take good care of yourselves and your loved ones. Self-care is more important now than ever, and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, one cannot pour from an empty vessel. I wish each of you a happy, safe, and restful summer break.

Please be sure to check the GPISD website and social media platforms regularly throughout the summer for district news and updates regarding the 2021-2022 school year.

Be safe,

John C. Moore, Jr., Ed.D.
