Happy Thanksgiving!
November 18, 2022
Dear Julian Curtiss Community,
The first part of the 2022-2023 school year has gone by quickly and it has been an exciting time. We are in full swing with curriculum as well as extracurricular events and we feel grateful for that.
As we reflect on the many things for which we are thankful, I want to take this opportunity to share just a few of them with you: We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn – they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. We are thankful for the support of the parents in creating an outstanding partnership between school and home. We are thankful for the teachers, professional assistants, secretaries, nurse, cafeteria staff, support staff, therapists, and the bus drivers who really care about the students, their achievement and their well being! We are also thankful for our PTA volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school.
We have a community of dedicated and tireless individuals going above and beyond to make sure that great things happen in our school. They do make a difference, and the children benefit from those efforts.
This is a wonderful time of the year to get together with friends and family to celebrate and be thankful for all the wonderful people in our lives. On behalf of the Julian Curtiss staff, we would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you all a safe and happy holiday.
We will be in session until Wednesday, November 23rd. We have an early dismissal of 12:45 pm on Wednesday and then we will see everyone back here on Monday, November 28th.
Happy Thanksgiving!
With gratitude,
Trish McGuire, Matt Hartigan and the Julian Curtiss Staff
