Updates and Reminders...
Many staff members have mentioned that stress levels are increasing. I agree. The demands are many with deadlines constantly looming. Please talk to me if you're feeling overwhelmed. I'll do my best to try to find ways to help.
In an effort to provide more time for grading, webinars, sandboxes, unit plans, assessments, and all of your other tasks, there will be no grade levels next Thursday. Use the time to catch up on the many things that you have to do.
As we create the agenda for the November 2nd PD day, we are aware that you need some time to review your report cards. We will make sure to include that in our plans for the day.
Remember to take some time for yourself and your family. Work will always be here. There will always be papers to grade and parents to call. Put yourself and your family first.

Review your Staff Handbook about field trip protocols. (Get that $$ in early!)
Don't forget to check your emergency forms in the Main Office.
Just Ask Jess
Special Education Training: Many teachers have been asking about the mandated SPED training emails that they are receiving from ODLSS. We are looking into the webinar option. As of last week they were not loaded into the Learning Hub. We will keep you updated.
ESPecially for ESPs
Halloween
Costumes are allowed for students in grades PreK through 2nd. (Teachers...feel free!)
Avoid candy--we are a Healthy School!
The parade will begin at 2:15. Listen for the scary music to begin and then take your PreK-2nd grade students on a parade through the building and around the block (weather permitting). Parents are encouraged to attend and to walk with their children.
We will be closing the building promptly at 3:00. There should be no after school tutoring, Disney Dance is cancelled, and our sports teams should not have practice. You should get out of Dodge ASAP!
