VDI Maintenance: We Need Your Help!

The Jackson Technology Group needs to perform maintenance in the VDI environment this Saturday, January 23rd from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Due to the nature of the maintenance, the entire VDI environment must be taken offline.
BUT WAIT! We Need Your Help!
In preparation for the maintenance, we need to upgrade your Horizon View clients. To do so, we will need you to restart your physical desktop computers anytime on Thursday or Friday.
Important - Have a work laptop or home PC? No Problem, instead of rebooting just follow the attached instructions to download the updated software.
If you are unsure how to restart your physical machine, just press the reset button on the front of your computer. If you don't have a reset button, hold the power button until it powers off, wait 10 seconds for the drive to spin down, then press the power button again to turn the machine back on.
Important Additional Info
As part of our continued effort to improve the VDI experience, the maintenance will involve upgrading major components of the VDI environment. We do not anticipate any issues on Monday as we will perform extensive testing during and after the maintenance.
