Mix It Up at Lunch is a national campaign launched by Teaching Tolerance over a decade ago, that encourages students to identify, question and cross social boundaries. During lunch, students were encouraged to move out of their comfort zones and sit with someone new. Though uncomfortable at first, students enjoyed the experience and learned new information about their classmates.
