Helping students build computational fluency
You can help students clarify their thinking in several ways:

How many people solved it the same way as ____________?
Does anyone have any questions for ___________?
__________, can you tell us where you got that 5?
How did you figure it out?
What the first thing your eyes saw, or your brain did?
Describe what the student did and write down the process:
