A Note From the Director

You may have noticed a new box hanging in the lobby near our office door. This box will be for suggestions, comments, and prayer requests. Feel free to drop us a prayer request at any time. Also, each month we will ask for your feedback on events and activities that occur at ECDC. We want to hear your suggestions for making our program even better! You are welcome to sign your name or leave it anonymous. This month we would like your comments on Halloween parties and Trunk or Treat.

Did your child enjoy Trunk or Treat?

Do you have suggestions for improving?

Would you like to see something different in the future?

How was your child's class party?

And anything else you want us to know!

Do you have leftover Halloween candy? We want it for decorating gingerbread houses in December! We will take candy such as skittles, starbursts, runts, smarties, lifesavers, etc. (chocolate candy does not work well). Drop off your candy in the office anytime this month.

Several parents mentioned their children are missing items such as jackets and blankets last week. Please double check your child's bags for items that do not belong to him. Often times children mistakenly put belongings in the wrong cubby or bag. We also have a lost and found at the west end of the lobby. It is very important to label all belongings in case items get misplaced.

We continue to collect donations for Blizzard Bags this week. Please remember the items need to be easy to open and single servings for the Meals On Wheels clients.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Auction on Friday night! Thank you!

ECDC Apparel

We still have a few adult size short sleeve t-shirts featuring the "Frogs, Owls, Otter, Bees, Raccoons" logo. They are for sale in the office for $15.

Last week apparel orders were sent home in mailboxes. We have a few extras for sale in the office if you missed the deadline for ordering.

Stewardship Renewal

It is that time of year again when we renew our stewardship commitment to the parish. You can do so by visiting the following link.

https://www.christthekingcatholic.church/stewardship

There are also hard copies in the church and school offices. Stewardship commitments are renewed annually and are part of the criteria for receiving parishioner tuition. All families hoping to receive parishioner tuition next year must complete a new stewardship commitment.
