Duncan Appointed to the SC National Board Network
The mission of the SCNBN is to advocate for the National Board Program and to recruit and support candidates in order to enhance student learning and to advance education throughout South Carolina and the nation.
South Carolina has one of the largest pools of National Board Certified Teachers (NBCT's) in the nation, and SCNBN's goal is to provide a network for NBCT's to collaborate, advocate, recognize, and celebrate accomplished teaching.
The SCNBN has been active in Capitol Hill Days, National Board renewal sessions, mentor trainings, and advocacy. Duncan is an Art teacher at Moore Intermediate School and has served as the 2018-19 Florence 1 Schools Teacher of the Year.
