"Captivating Every Student, Every Day!"
Kudos - singing the praises of our staff :)
Kudos to our teachers for intentionally writing comments that are specific to each child in their classroom. Many of you chose to focus on academics rather than inappropriate behaviors and this tells parents you love their child and are committed to their learning no matter what! Thank you for communicating behavioral concerns over the phone. Parents will love reading and rereading these hopeful, positive comments on the report card for years to come.
Kudos to Stephanie Piron, Diana Themedies, Jan Roewer, and Nancy Lambert for learning Google Classroom Fluency Tutor and to Brooke Martinette for being their tutor!
Kudos to Grades 3, 4, & 5 teachers for learning more about the issues students face when trying to solve math problems. Your willingness to understand how young mathematicians work adds up to greatness!
Kudos to First Grade teachers for arranging time to plan guided reading lessons together. Powerful instruction comes when seeking the ideas of others. Way to go!
Kudos to Patty Jack and Mrs. Z for a very smooth and successful ELLs Access assessment.
Kudos to Grade 2 teachers for leveraging community resources. Last Friday, they brought in Ms. Tate, a meteorologist, to make a weather presentation to the students.
Grade Two teachers would like to thank Mrs. Williams for assisting with the tables, Mrs. Lambert for helping to solve the technological issues, and Mr. Ellis for taking pictures during the presentation.

We ask ourselves: How am I putting student interests and needs first when making decisions?
We Seek Growth
We ask ourselves: In what ways am I making my learning a priority?
We Are Open To Change
We ask ourselves: How am I implementing new or improved ideas to benefit my work and the work of the school division?
We Do Great Work Together
We ask ourselves: How and where am I working with others to improve my work and the work of the school division?
We Value Differences
