Collective Impact Projects
Assistant Principals throughout the district worked together throughout the 2022-2023 school year to develop a collective impact project. Two teams were formed with the first focused on parent engagement, while the other team focused on literacy.
On May 24 from 5pm-7pm, the Family and Community Engagement team will host an event at the Center for Innovation to bring parents to experience opportunities available to students, as well as receive EOG supports. Previously, the team held a family engagement night at LB Yancey Elementary that was well attended.
The Partners in Literacy team focused on expanding literacy to all students. With each of our elementary students all having access to a book vending machine, they wanted to ensure our secondary schools have access. The Center for Innovation will now have a book vending machine available on the CFI campus. The books will be replenished through community partnerships developed. On June 7, V3A students will be part of the grand opening of the book vending machine at 9am.
